- Africa Real Time Environmental Monitoring Information System (ARTEMIS) is part of the FAO's use of satellite remote sensing techniques to improve the surveillance and forecasting capabilities of its Global Information and Early Warning System (GIEWS).

- Direct Readout - This Portal provides the Direct Readout (DR) community with easy access to Earth remote sensing data and technologies through shared information resources.
- The Disaster Monitoring Constellation (DMC) consists of five remote-sensing satellites constructed by Surrey Satellite Technology Ltd (SSTL) and operated for the Algerian, Nigerian, Turkish, British and Chinese governments by DMC International Imaging.

- NEREIDS is PO.DAAC's near-real-time image distribution server. This server provides satellite browse images within 24 hours of capture and keeps the data in a short-term rolling store.
- NGA-Earth. First established in 2005 in direct response to Hurricane Katrina, NGA Earth provides access to geospatial data over the World Wide Web. This service brings timely geospatial intelligence (GEOINT) to all users with an Internet connection.
- Planetary Skin, deployed at a global scale, is the mechanism for measurement, reporting and verification (MRV) infrastructure for both mitigation and adaptation.
- Planet Action is a non-for-profit collaborative initiative launched in June 2007 by Spot Image, a world leader in satellite imagery. Its purpose is to encourage the Earth Observation industry and geographic information professional communities to help and tackle the climate change related issues.

- SERVIR: A 21st Century System for Improved Environmental Decision Making in Mesoamerica. SERVIR is a regional visualization and monitoring system for Mesoamerica that integrates satellite and other geospatial data for improved scientific knowledge and decision making by managers, researchers, students, and the general public. SERVIR addresses the nine societal benefit areas of the Global Earth Observation System of Systems (GEOSS): disasters, ecosystems, biodiversity, weather, water, climate, oceans, health, agriculture, and energy. For example, SERVIR can be used to monitor and forecast ecological changes and severe events such as forest fires, red tides, and tropical storms.
- SERVIR Africa: SERVIR integrates satellite observations and predictive models with other geographic information (sensor and field-based) to monitor and forecast ecological changes and respond to natural disasters. This evolving regional visualization and monitoring platform is being established in Africa to improve scientific knowledge and decision-making in a range of application areas (e.g., biodiversity conservation, disaster management, agricultural development, climate change adaptation, etc.).
